PM takes notice of Nazim Jokhio murder case

KARACHI (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken the notice of the murder of Nazim Jokhio.

The PM directed Governor Sindh Imran Ismail to seek details of the murder case and provide full legal assistance to the victim family.

Talking to the media, MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh  questioned why the sections of the Anti- Terrorism Act were not included in Jokhio murder case. "I did not commit the murder but still I was charged with terrorism. In the name of the JIT, a 'Macao' committee had been formed. Jam of Malir has now become a killer of Malir.”

Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail asked for the details of murder case. He briefed the prime minister about the police investigations in the case.

On the other hand, the police have not yet arrested two suspects in Jokhio murder case.

Five accused have been named in the case. Of which only three accused,  including an MPA,  have been arrested.
