PM telephones UNSG, expresses concern over worsening situation in IOK

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the United Nations secretary general (UNSG) to take the notice of grave human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK). The prime minister expressed his concern during a telephonic conversation with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Thursday. He expressed his concerns with the UN chief over worsening situation in the Occupied Kashmir. PM Khan also underscored UN’s role to end human rights violations being perpetrated by occupied Indian forces against the Kashmiris. Earlier, the federal cabinet meeting was held today with PM Imran Khan in chair. The Federal Cabinet has strongly condemned presidential rule and Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir. Briefing the journalists after the meeting, the minister said that the cabinet expressed concern over increasing brutalities of the India forces in the occupied valley.
