ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has thanked all parties for developing consensus on the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill on Monday. Addressing the National Assembly on Monday, he said that the nation stands by the tribal people whose voice would be heard everywhere. “All the provinces will give three percent of their NFC Award to tribal districts,” he said. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the enemy was using the sense of deprivation as a tool in some areas. “We will have to support the FATA financially to deal with devastations in the FATA. We are united to bring the tribal people in the national mainstream,” he said. He said that they should also strive to raise the areas lagging behind in progress. “A huge amount is needed to launch development projects,” he said. The opposition members also said the day was historic as the FATA was being merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They also expressed the resolve to jointly work for the rehabilitation of the affected areas.
