PM to chair Cabinet Committee on SIFC, COAS & CMs to be its members

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday formed a cabinet committee on the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

The PM will chair the committee, while chief ministers of all four provinces and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir will be its members.

Moreover, Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister for Defence for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Federal Minister for Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Water Resources Musadik Masood Malik, Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazir Tarar and Federal Minister for Investment Abdul Aleem Khan will also be included in the committee.

The committee will comprise of 12 cabinet members and six from outside the cabinet. According to the notification, the decisions made by the Cabinet Committee on the SIFC will be presented in the federal cabinet.
