PM to chair cabinet meeting on six-point agenda today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will chair a meeting of the federal cabinet on Thursday (today). During the meeting, a six-point agenda will be discussed. The cabinet will discuss MoU for construction of oil refinery with Saudi Arabia. In the meeting, It is expected to give approval to the agreement with Turkey for establishing National Skills University. In the meeting, the agreement between Pakistan and Japan will be approved in various fields, including education. The cabinet will also give approval to include experts in the financial management planning board. The federal cabinet will also give approval to appointment of Maj Gen Arif’s as DG ANF. – Govt determined to facilitate foreign investors The prime minister has said the government is determined to facilitate foreign investors to invest in diverse areas of the country's socio-economic, energy and financial sectors and ensure security of their investments. He was talking to Chief Executive Ashmore Group Mark Coombs along with his delegation in Islamabad. Ashmore is a specialist emerging markets investment group which has made investment in healthcare, power and telecom sectors as well as waste management in different parts of the world. The prime minister appreciated the investment made by Ashmore Group in Pakistan and welcomed its plan to establish three hospitals in the country. The Ashmore Group chief executive said his company is keen for further investment in Pakistan as it is an ideal time for investment here. He expressed desire for establishing three commercial hospitals in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi in collaboration with King's College London.
