PM to dissolve assemblies if rigging proven: Govt-PTI accord

ISLAMABAD (92 NEWS) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will dissolve assemblies and announce new elections if allegations of rigging by PTI are proven in investigations by the judicial commission. According to the agreement between federal government and PTI on establishment of a judicial commission to probe rigging allegations, 92 News exclusively reported on Sunday from excerpts of the agreement. As guarantors, the PPP and BNP also signed the 6-page agreement. According to the accord, rigging investigation will be carried out through summary trial while judicial commission will comprise of Chief Justice of Pakistan (commission head) and three judges of the Supreme Court. Members of PML-N and PTI will abstain from confrontational statements during the inquiry, according to the agreement.
