PM to take PTI lawmakers into confidence over coronavirus situation on May 4
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan will take the PTI lawmakers into confidence over the coronavirus situation on May 4. A meeting of the MNAs will be held through the video link. Sources said that the prime minister would also inquire about the problems in their constituencies. During the meeting, the coronavirus situation in the constituencies will also be reviewed. On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a new Corona Relief Fund to help the people losing their jobs due to the pandemic. The prime minister said that an amount of Rs81 billion had been given to 6.6 million families. “Most of amounts have been distributed in Sindh. The Tiger Force will inform the government about the deserving people,” he said. The prime minister said that unemployed people could contact through the SMS. He said that the number of coronavirus cases is very low in Pakistan as compared to other countries. “In the US, over 60,000 people have died. In Pakistan, the coronavirus cases and deaths have increased but the situation is not uncontrollable,” he said.
