PM vows to raise blasphemous sketches issue at UN through OIC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has vowed to raise the issue of the blasphemous sketches at the United Nations through the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). In a video message over the issue on Thursday, he said that he clarifies that it is not an issue of a Muslim, but the Muslims of the world. “Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) lives in the hearts of the Muslims. Each Muslim is hurt whenever blasphemy is done. The West does not understand this issue,” he observed. The prime minister said that he had directed Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi who has started contacting other Muslim countries in this regard. “The foreign minister will hold meetings at the UN in this regard. Inshallah, we will lodge a strong protest,” he said. Imran Khan said that they will make the world understand the issue and will be successful in this regard.
