PM vows to resolve problems of Karachi: Firdous

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that PM Imran Khan vowed to resolve problems of Karachi. In a series of tweets on Monday, the special assistant said that PM Khan committed to solve problems of citizens and will turn lights of city towards progress, which is the commercial hub of Pakistan. She said people of Sindh are fed up with the current provincial government. She also said Sindh has historical significance as Babul Islam and the federal government has primary responsibility to strengthen it. The prime minister will meet with the leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Isnaf (PTI) leaders at Sindh Governor’s House today (Monday). Later, PM Khan will also inaugurate 1320 megawatt China Hub Power Plant in Hub. On teh other hand, PM Imran Khan has reached in Karachi on a day-long visit. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) called for a meeting to resolve differences in Sindh leadership under the chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan at Sindh Governor’s House today. During his visit, the prime minister will hold meetings with high-ups besides inaugurating a power project. The sources revealed that Imran Khan will hold separate meetings with Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, federal ministers and other prominent personalities during his upcoming visit to the metropolis. Pm Imran Khan will also meet PTI Sindh chapter leadership and lawmakers. A session will be summoned by PM Khan to make consultations over the issues of the port city. The premier will also meet the business community during his visit.
