PML-N always attacked judiciary, says PPP leader Latif Khosa

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PPP leader Latif Khosa said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had always attacked the judiciary.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the new legislation is tantamount to placing restrictions on the judiciary. "Such amendments cannot be made through the legislation and they need a constitutional amendment," he declared.

"How the opinion of the judges who were not part of the bench can be included in the judgment?" he questioned.

Barrister Ali Zafar declared the proposed judicial reforms as mala fide. "The SC can nullify such legislation," he added.
