KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Governer Imran Ismail has said that the PML-N and the PPP are partners in corruption.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that they had tried to get rid of corrupt people in these three and a half years. "There was a time when a Double Shah came and now Double Sharif have come. One sharif is living luxuriously in London and other Sharif is roaming around in Pakistan. They are following the path of Double Shah. These people are responsible for the destruction of the country," he added.

He said that the person who himself is facing corruption charges is holding them accountable. "Hamza Shahbaz was involved in money laundering of Rs16 billion. They had deposited millions and billions of rupees in the accounts of their employees who earned Rs25,000-Rs30,000 per month.

"If these people feel shame, they should not point finger at others. We will expose the Sharif brothers and bring them to justcie,” he added.

Expressing his views on economic situation of the country, he said that they did not let economy of the country down despite of Covid-19. “The people who call Pakistan bankrupt are the people like the Sharif brothers. They are just in wait of their own turn. Their turn of going to jail will come.”

He said, “In 1973, nationalization was initiated and many people shifted their business out of Pakistan. Till now, the business community is not ready to trust Pakistan.”
