LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday has announced to challenge presidential ordinance on Senate elections in the Supreme Court (SC).

Speaking to the journalists, Ahsan Iqbal said that there is rebellion in Imran Khan's party. "Imran Khan has fear that his dear ones will not support in the election. Open ballot means giving NRO to friends of Imran Khan," he added.

The PML-N general secretary alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to issue Senate tickets to his friends. "Promulgation of ordinance despite lacking two third majority in Parliament is height of ignorance of incumbent government," he maintained.

He further said that constitution of Pakistan cannot be amended just to benefit friends of Imran Khan.

On the other hand, former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the rulers do not care about the constitution and law.
