PML-N announces to lodge protest against arrest of Shehbaz Sharif

LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has annoucned to protest against the arrest of Shehbaz Sharif. Talking to the media after a meeting of the PML-N CEC on Monday, Rana Sanaullah said that the protest will not only be restricted to assemblies. “The arrest of Shehbaz Sharif without any proof is an insult to parliament and an attack on democracy,” he maintained. He said that the NAB was used for political purposes in the past and being used for the same purpose today. “The statement submitted by the NAB does not mention the allegation of corruption against Shehbaz Sharif,” he said. Rana Sanaullah said that a committee had been formed to contact other opposition parties to join the protest. He said that Nawaz Sharif is their Quaid and they will do politics under him.
