ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has demanded that the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) to table a no-confidence move against Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

Talking to the media on Monday, PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that 57 senators have stated in writing they belong to the opposition.

He said that National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar had also lost the confidence of the opposition. "We are not ready to move to any committee and listen to him. Now the speaker should apologize to the opposition," he added.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that earlier presiding officers were lifted and later electoral reforms are discussed later. "We are ready to go along those following the principles the parliament, democracy and the PDM," he added.

He said that the Broadsheet reports were aimed at saving the culprits. "Facts about Broadsheet are very clear. The NAB chairman had signed the agreements. Those becoming facilitators and demanding commission should be held accountable," he demanded.
