ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has challenged Prime Minister Imran Khan to point out corruption in the road projects completed by the former government.

Talking to the media on Thursday, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that a 'selected' had tried to mislead the people over the development projects.

"The government is levelling allegations on the projects designed by China and the Pak Army. The PM should tell the nation how corruption was committed in the projects carried out by the FWO and the NLC," he said.

Ahsan Iqbal accused the prime minister of becoming a tool in the hands of the enemies of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He said that lack of quorum in the National Assembly for seven days is a sign of no-confidence in the prime minister. "President Dr Arif Alvi should direct the prime minister to get the vote of confidence from the parliament," he added.

The PML-N leader said that the country had been turned into an anti-investment state.

"The PM has ruined the micro-economic. The Mitiari-Lahore transmission line project was started in 2018. The demand has been reduced by increasing the price of electricity. The government has become a curse for Pakistan. It has taken historic loans during three years," he maintained.
