LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) on Monday decided to resign from parliamentary committees of Punjab Assembly for not making Opposition Leader Hamza Shehbaz as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman. According to the details garnered, the decision was taken in a PML-N’s parliamentary party meeting under the chair of Hamza Shehbaz. The PML-N leaders also expressed reservations on the draft of Local Government Act during the meeting. It was reported that the protest movement against local government bills, inflation and unemployment including all the country’s political situation related matters were discussed in the meeting. Addressing to the meeting, Hamza Shehbaz said that PTI-led government within eight months has brought inflation storm for people of Pakistan, adding that PML-N will not tolerate the anti-nation behaviour of PTI. PML-N refutes report about contact with Ch Nisar After the meeting speaking to the journalists, PML-N leader Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan informed that all the members of assembly submitted their resigns over not making Hamza Shehbaz as the PAC chairman. He expressed reservations on the draft of Local Government Act, saying that the local government institutions have constitutional right to run its affairs. MaliK Ahmed Khan also refuted the reports regarding to party contact with PML-N disgruntled leader Chaudhry Nisar.
