ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has demanded immediate resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Speaking in the National Assembly on Saturday, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif said that Imran Khan should resign over his incompetence and the PTI should elect its new leader. “The PTI government should accept its failure during two years and resign,” he demanded. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the budget has no correct figures about the income. “The increase in the petrol price during the budget session is unacceptable. Today Pakistan is purchasing petrol at Rs55.56 per litre and a tax of Rs44 is being imposed on it,” he said. He said that the petrol price should be Rs67 per litre if the tax is not imposed. Ahsan Iqbal said that the Rs25.58 per litre increase in the petrol price is violent attack on the economy. “The sequence of inflation cannot stop and the price of each price will increase now,” he said.
