PML-N emerging as single largest party in Centre and Punjab: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has claimed that the PML-N is emerging as the single largest party in the Centre and Punjab.

In a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, she wrote: "As opposed to the false perception deliberately built by a section of media last night, the PML-N, Alhamdolillah emerging as the single largest party in centre and in Punjab. Some results awaited. Mian Nawaz Sharif will head to PMLN HQ for the victory speech as soon as final results are received. Insha’Allah. Stay tuned."

PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb, in a message on X, said: "According to the results collected so far in the general elections of February 8 2024, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Alhamdulillah, has emerged as the majority party in the National and Punjab Assembly. This is a manifestation of the recognition of the people of Pakistan for the public service of the leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N. As soon as the final results are completed, Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Shashi will reach the central secretariat of the party in Model Town and address the people. Lion, Alhamdulillah."
