LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Government Spokesperson Hassan Khawar said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has the history of political blackmailing through audio and video tape.

Addressing to a news conference on Monday, he said that the PML-N respects the vote by giving the money. "The PML-N is buying votes in fear of the defeat. The Election Commission of Pakistan should take notice of the purchasing the votes. There should be complete investigations into the matter," he maintained.

He said that the PML-N should change the statement regarding respect of vote. "They malign people’s reputation by leaking the videos. The media war is their new technique in the 21st century. The problem of the opposition is that media shows pictures of both sides. They want that the media shouldd speak in their favour," he added.

Hassan Khawar said: “Elections should be transparent. The PTI do not have any problem with anyone, but only the PML-N fears."

He said that in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the cabinet considers the opinion of everyone and it was not a royal court.

The Punjab government spokesperson was of the view that Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision is to conduct the local body elections and bring a people's government.
