PML-N fighting war of reconciliation: Sheikh Rashid

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid on Monday has said that the PML-N is fighting the war of reconciliation and resistance, adding that all the narratives of PML-N have gone wasted.

Speaking to the journalist, Sheikh Rashid said that the power-hungry opposition leaders are not getting desired appreciation from the nation. “There is no threat from PML-N and PPP and the politics of opposition is over,” he added.

Sheikh Rashid has announced to observe two years of scrapping special status of Occupied Kashmir on August 5 as ‘Youm-e-Istehsal’ across Pakistan. “The law and order situation will be maintained during the holy month of Muharram,” he mentioned.

To a question, the interior minister said progress has been made in Dasu Dam incident. He said China has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times. He said foolproof security arrangements have been made for security of Chinese people in Pakistan.

He said an Afghan team has arrived in Islamabad for investigation into incident involving Afghan Ambassador daughter. He said the authorities concerned will fully cooperate with the Afghan team.

Sheikh Rashid said that NADRA has decided to issue Covid-19 vaccination certificates. A vaccination verification system for both local and foreigners is being launched in the NADRA.

He said Islamabad administration has been directed to further secure the diplomatic enclave. 190 more security cameras will be installed there.
