PML-N for exposing those who removed Khatam-e-Nabuwwat affidavit from Hajj form

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N Senator Raja Zafarul Haq demanded that the people who removed the Khatam-e-Nabuwwat affidavit from the Hajj form should be made public. Expressing his views in the Senate on Wednesday, he said that the Khatam-e-Nabuwwat affidavit was removed from the Hajj form and later re-included it. “It was decided 1,400 years ago that no non-Muslim will be able to enter Harmain Sharifain. Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri, in his column, said that the affidavit was removed from the form without informing him,” he said. Senator Hafiz Abdul Kareem said that Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri had stated that action would be taken against the responsible people. “The minister should tell the House what action has been taken so far,” he added. Senator Sirajul Haq said that it is a national issue and the conspirator should be exposed. “The government should review the Hajj expenditures. The Hajj cost should be brought the rate of previous year,” he added. Senator Mushahidullah Khan said that the Khatam-e-Nabuwwat matter is a very serious one. “It is the matter of faith. We penalized the culprits. We will let the matter forgo and expose the conspirators,” he added. Giving the Policy Statement in the Senate, Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri said that the manual form comprised 14 pages which was computerized. “The affidavit is present at a place where intending pilgrims put their signatures. The form was separated without informing him. We will give the culprits punishment suggested by the House,” he declared.
