ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has said that the PML-N government installed the world’s cheapest electricity projects. Responding to Finance Minister Asad Umar’s winding up speech in the House, he said that the PML-N government ended power shortage in the country by adding new electricity projects. The opposition leader mentioned that the PML-N had saved 160 billion rupees by installing affordable electricity projects. Criticizing the PTI-led government, he termed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government did not add any new electricity project. Shehbaz Sharif termed that the credit goes to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for brining huge Chinese investment under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Meanwhile, former premier Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said PPP will welcome forensic audit of all power projects.
