ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) nullify the 2018 elections.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the government had not received taxes and as a result, country's development fund was badly affecting.

"According to the Pakistan's electoral laws, there is a ban on a political party to receive funds from overseas Pakistanis and abroad. The PTI received millions of rupees from overseas Pakistanis. It also received funds from our enemy India and Israel and concealed it from the ECP," he alleged.

The PML-N leader said that the State Bank of Pakistan had pointed out dozens of bank accounts which had not been disclosed by the PTI. He also alleged that the PTI had also received amounts through Hundi.

He said that the PTI had admitted foreign funding in the scrutiny committee and agents were held responsible for it. "The PTI had used this money and it would have to answer. The interference of millions of rupees created political instability," he added.

Ahsan Iqbal alleged that the 2018 elections were rigged through the foreign funding.
