PML-N leader Javed Latif's interim bail extended till April 12

LAHORE (92 News) – Additional Sessions Judge Wajid Minhas on Saturday extended the interim bail of PML-N leader Javed Latif till April 12.

The court gave the last opportunity to Javed Latif to present his arguments on the next hearing. He faces the charge of issuing anti-state statement.

Talking to the media after the hearing, PML-N leader Javed Latif said that he would not stop speaking truth in fear of jail. "Being the MNA, I have pledged to defend the country. How can I betray my allegiance?" he questioned.

He called for closing the factory issuing certificates of betrayal, which would not benefit anyone. "There is need to pay attention to economy, which is in a shambles," he added.
