PML-N leader submits parole request to release Shehbaz, Hamza Sharif

In the application, the plaintiff took the stance that parole relief should be granted to the opposition leader the National Assembly and the opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly on a humanitarian basis.

The applicant said that there is no bigger loss in this world than the passing away of one’s mother, therefore, Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz should be released immediately so that they can pay their respects to the departed soul.

The plaintiff has taken the stance that Shehbaz Sharif is Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Hamza Shahbaz is Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly and people will visit them from across the country to condole the death of Begum Shamim Akhtar – Shehbaz’s mother and Hamza’s grandmother.

The applicant has said that there is no bigger loss in this world than passing away of one’s mother, therefore, Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz should be released immediately.

Earlier on Sunday, the mother of former premier Nawaz Sharif and former punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif has passed away in London after prolonged illness.  This tragic news was announced on Twitter by Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Atta Tarrar.

"Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif's respected mother has passed away," he tweeted.

PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar announced the tragic news on Twitter and wrote that Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shehbaz Sharif’s mother has passed away.”

Tarar said Suleman Shehbaz informed about the demise of Shamim Akhtar from London via phone and added that steps are being taken to shift her body to Pakistan. “Details would be shared after finalisation of arrangments”, Atta Tarar added.

Begum Shamim was staying in London with her son Nawaz Sharif, where she breathed her last. She was 90.
