ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has no leadership and the leaders are quitting party due to ‘incompetent’ leadership of Maryam Nawaz. Addressing a press conference on Sunday, the minister has mentioned that the PML-N leaders know about the competency of Maryam Nawaz and they don’t want to destroy their political careers. Fawad Chaudhry said that Maryam Nawaz is the one who ousted her own father from power, made him go to jail and took over the party leadership. He also said Maryam Nawaz usurped the leadership of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif. Fawad Chaudhry said that PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif has resigned from all the committees and remains mere leader of the opposition. He said that no one pays attention to Shehbaz Sharif even in the PML-N, adding that people are now leaving the party. The minister further maintained that the opposition does not have the numbers to change Senate chairman, and advised it to drop this idea. Referring to the Finance Bill 2019, the minister said that the federal budget for the year 2019-20 has been passed but the real challenge is of collecting tax, which remains. He said that the government has repaid Rs9.8 billion in loans and immediate crisis is over. Fawad Chaudhry hoped that within six months the financial condition of the country will improve. "The government will achieve new foreign policy goals," he added.
Earlier today, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed claimed that more members of National Assembly (MNAs) are ready to quit Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) but no possibility of change in Senate chairman.

Speaking to the journalists in Lahore, the federal minister assured that Prime Minister Imran Khan will not give National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to anyone but he is in favour of relaxation instead of any deal. “I am not in favor of any deal but relaxation should be given to the arrested persons to return the national exchequer,” he said.
