LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N MPAs and leaders protested against the arrest of Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif outside Punjab Assembly on Wednesday. They crossed the barriers to enter the assembly premises. They also tried to break open the gate. Khawaja Nazir mounted the wires erected by the police. Addressing the participants, Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz said that the PA speaker still owes Rs 22 billion to Punjab Bank. “The person who embezzled billions of rupees has become a senior minister,” he maintained. “Shehbaz Sharif is the person who put his health at stake and served the province day and night,” he said. Khawaja Saad Rafique said that the Punjab Assembly doors have been closed, which is a dictatorial act. “The rulers cannot run the country and they want to quarrel with the opposition,” he said. The PML-N leaders also chanted slogans against the government.
