LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) members submitted their resignations from standing committees against refusal of the appointment of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz as the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman. According to the reports, more than 100 PML-N members resigned from the standing committees of Punjab Assembly. They submitted their resignations in the provincial assembly. PML-N’s delegation led by Malik Nadeem Kamran arrived in the Punjab Assembly and collectively submitted the resignations of the PML-N members. PML-N leader Sami Ullah Khan said that they resigned in protest against the government’s apathy.
