PML-N should have no objection to elections on old census: Khurshid Shah
November 6, 2017
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has said that the PML-N should have no objection to the conduct of the elections on the basis of the old census. Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the PML-N had won the 2013 elections on the basis of the 1998 census. “There is a question mark on the census. The elections should be held on time.” Khurshid Shah said that the people close to Nawaz Sharif are conspiring against him and he knows very well about them. “We do not support premature elections. There is no problem in holding the elections on the old lists,” he maintained. The opposition leader said that the PPP had not taken a U-turn on the delimitation of constituencies. He prayed for the 2018 elections in July-August.
