ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has opposed the proposal of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) to table a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Talking to the media on Saturday, Ahsan Iqbal said that the opposition suffered a defeat in the Senate elections despite having the required number. "Bilawal Bhutto should show if he has required numbers," he added.

He said that the government had paid the amount in the Broadsheet case without waiting for the High Court verdict.

The PML-N leader said that the country's development fund had been reduced to Rs 550 billion from Rs 1,000 billion. "One of the ministers tarnished the credibility of Pakistani pilots to cover up a plane crash incident," he added.

On the other hand, several PDM leaders have sought an explanation from the PPP over the no-confidence motion.
