PML-N refuses to talk with government committee regarding legislation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim league-N (PML-N) refused to talk with the government committee regarding legislation on Thursday. In an exclusive talk with “Ho Kya Raha Hai” program on 92 News, PML-N General Secretary said that the government needs the opposition to extend the tenure of army chief. “We are not ready to talk with the committee. If Imran Khan wants cooperation, he should talk directly with us,” he said. Ahsan Iqbal also said that the government’s attitude seems to be like as they are inciting the opposition for stopping to the legislation on army chief’s extension. The PML-N leader said that the government is busy to destroy all progress done by Shehbaz Sharif in previous ten years. “Imran Khan was a sportsman so it was expected that he would show sportsmanship in the politics. There is no leader who would say in public meetings to arrest that person,” he added. Ahsan Iqbal said condemned the incident happened with Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hasan Chohan. “Yesterday what happened, that should have not happened to this extent, where was our government and the administration,” he asked. They should have to handle the matter immediately,” he added. “If we have move towards a new election, then through in-house change, the national government should be formed for a month or two, which government should hold transparent elections after election reforms,” the PML-N leader maintained. “On the other side, there is public pressure and protests that will not be good for the country,” he added. Referring to Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed, Ahsan Iqbal further said that when the wind turns into another side then only knows by the railways minister instead of the NAB. “Sheikh Rasheed is well aware of upcoming danger for the incumbent government is about to an end. Sheikh Rasheed is terrified and his panic is legitimate, his concern is justified in what has been made public,” the PML-N leader mentioned.
