PML-N's candidate for Senate opposition leader was very controversial: Bilawal Bhutto

LAHORE (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PML-N's candidate for the slot of the opposition leader in the Senate was very controversial.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that the position was their right and no one should object to it.

He said that the PPP neither wants to harm the PDM nor respond to harsh statements of the PML-N. "We will be able to oust Imran Khan only if the opposition remains united," he added.

The PPP chairman termed the ordinance related to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) an attack on the sovereignty of Pakistan, announcing to challenge it at each forum.

He said that the opposition would become a tool of the government if it continued to criticize each other. "We are not ready to give a single day to the PTI government," he added.

Bilawal Bhutto said that he had laid the foundation of the PDM. "We want to strengthen the parliament. The alliance cannot continue on the dictation of someone else," he added.

He said that Youaf Raza Gillani was disqualified due to the establishment and political parties.
