PML-N's Javed Latif released from Kot Lakhpat Jail

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N MNA Javed Latif was released from Kot Lakhpat Jail on Thursday.

Javed Latif’s bail was granted by the Additional Sessions Judge yesterday. For the release of Javed Latif, two guarantors submitted two surety bonds worth Rs200,000 each.

Additional Sessions Judge Hafeezur Rehman confirmed the bail bonds of Javed Latif.

Speaking to the journalists after his release, Javed Latif said that the time for reconciliation has passed and there is no reconciliation between the strong and the weak. He also said that supremacy of constitution is necessary in the country, there can be no law of the jungle.

Earlier, a sessions court on Wednesday granted post-arrest bail to PML-N MNA Mian Javed Latif in a case pertaining to anti-state remarks.

Additional Sessions Judge Mohammad Hafizur Rehman approved the Javed Latif's bail subject to submission of two surety bonds worth Rs200,000 each.

Responding to the bail of the PML-N leader, party's vice president Maryam Nawaz tweeted, "Alhamdulillah, pain and difficulty came but her political stature has been increased. Truthfulness and bravery are the key to success."

Earlier, Township police has registered a case against Javed Latif for his anti-state statement.
