PML-N's Pir Adil Shah Gillani elected Islamabad new mayor

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pir Adil Shah Gillani of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was elected Islamabad new mayor on Monday.

Pir Adil Shah Gillani secured 43 votes, while his rival Malik Sajjad of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) got 26 votes.

After the announcement of result, PML-N workers gathered outside and danced to the beat of drum. During the polling, no Coronavirus SOPs were followed.
