PML-N senior leaders attend consultative meeting in London

LONDON (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders attended a consultative meeting which was presided over by party president Shehbaz Sharif in London on Saturday. They also met PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif, who is in London for medical treatment for six weeks. Talking to the media after the meeting, Khawaja Asif said that the leadership had discussed the parliamentary matters. “We cannot comment on the issue of extension of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa,” he said. The PML-N leader said that the in-house change is the first phase for the new elections. Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said that they could not tell the date for their return as they have appointments with doctors after Christmas. Six PML-N leaders including Rana Tanvir Hussain, Khwaja Asif, Marriyum Auranzeb, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Pervaiz Rashid and Amir Muqam met the Sharif brothers in London. The PML-N president had summoned the parliamentary party meeting in London.
