LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced support for the protest movement to be launched by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rahman. However, the PML-N Central Executive Committee could not agree on the way and dates of the protest. It decided to take other political parties into confidence. Speaking on the occasion, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that the government had no roadmap. “The new elections should be conducted immediately in the country,” he said. “The nation is united on the Kashmir issue.” He said that the prime minister had not visited any country after August 5. “The government declared the support of 58 countries, but could not get the support of 16 countries,” he said. Ahsan Iqbal said that the government had wasted the opportunity of national unity after August 5. “The PM should have invited the opposition leaders during the Muzaffarabad visit. He should immediately take the House into confidence over the US and UN visit,” he declared. He said that there is no solution except the elections to steer the country out of the blind alley. The PML-N leader demanded that Nawaz Sharif should be released immediately. “Nawaz Sharif is a victim of the hate of Imran Khan,” he said. He said that an attempt is being made to make the province a deserted place.
