PML-N to propose anti-govt movement during PDM meeting today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will propose an anti-government movement during a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to be held today (August 11).

Sources in the PML-N said that Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif will play an active role in the anti-government movement.

They said that inflation and economic statistics will be made an issue. "The government's failed policies at the public level will be highlighted during the meeting," they added.

The sources said that Shehabz Sharif will give a tough time to the government in the parliament.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PDM summoned a key meeting today to review future strategy to give tough time to the incumbent government.

PDM head and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will preside the meeting. The meeting will discuss future political strategy against the government.

The participants of the meeting will overview the regional situation as well as the relations with neighboring countries. PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif will also attend the session.
