LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) on Monday has decided not to participate in Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F’s (JUI-F) sit-in in Islamabad. This was confirmed by PML-N stalwart Ahsan Iqbal while talking to the journalists in Lahore. He also said that the PML-N will continue its political support to the Azadi March of the JUI-F. Ahsan Iqbal mentioned that the opposition parties will take their future actions on behalf of the decisions of Rehbar Committee and All Parties Conference (APC). He said that they will present their suggestions to the Rahbar Committee which discussed during the party meeting. He also said that party president Shehbaz Sharif was supposed to attend the JUI-F’s APC on Monday but could not because a PML-N meeting was already scheduled and he and other senior leaders were needed. We sent Ayaz Sadiq instead to represent us at the APC, he said. “Imran Khan set a trend to take resignation of Prime Minister through caravan,” Ahsan Iqbal maintained. “No one at the Azadi March has asked people to stop paying for electricity because it has become more expensive, he added. The PML-N leader said unlike the PTI, no one has tried to create anarchy from the Azadi March’s platform. “We are a responsible opposition,” he said.
