PML-N wins Islamabad's two seats, independent candidate bags one seat
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won two seats while an independent candidate bagged one seat from Islamabad.
According to a notification issued regarding three seats of the federal capital by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), PML-N's Anjum Aqeel and Tariq Fazal Chaudhary have been declared successful from NA-46 and NA-47 respectively.
Raja Khurram Nawaz, a PTI-backed independent candidate, has been declared the winner from NA-48.
On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) stopped the ECP from issuing the results of NA-54 Taxila and PP-12. The victory of independent candidate Barrister Aqeel Malik and PML's Mohsin Ayub was challenged in the court.
The court has summoned the parties on the next date of hearing.
