PML-N workers celebrate release of Nawaz, Maryam & Safdar

LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N workers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Jhelum, Sheikhupura, Okara and Mian Channu celebrated the release of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam and Capt (retd) Safdar. Sweets were distributed at several PML-N offices. However, respect for Muharramul Haram and the passing away of Kulsoom Nawaz put a damper on the celebrations. Many workers said that the former prime minister was disqualified and imprisoned to keep him away from elections. Earlier, the IHC ordered the release of jailed ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter and her husband, suspending the sentences pronounced by an accountability court in July.
