June 1, 2019
LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the PML-Ns’s attack on the Supreme Court is the darkest and shameful incident in the history. In a tweet on Saturday, she said that the people still remind the insult to the judiciary in the form of ‘Mujhay Kiyon Nikala’ campaign. “Who is being befooled by the PML-N?” The SAPM said that the PTI had always been on the front in the struggle for independence and will continue to be on the front. She said that the PML-N was in habit of respecting the institutions and the law on his will. Reacting to the tweet of Firdous Ashiq Awan, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said that the people still remember Imran Niazi’s attack on PTV, call for civil disobedience and the movement for bringing the money through ‘Hundi’. He said that the selected PM does not know about the law and the constitution. “The movement for restoration of the judiciary under Nawaz Sharif still resonates in the minds of the people,” he retorted.
Will have to sever relation with corruption for progress: Firdous
On May 29, Special Assistant to Prime Minster on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the nation will have to sever the relation with corruption to make progress. Criticizing the hooliganism on the appearance of Bilawal Bhutto in NAB office, she said that the PPP had used women as a shield during the protest. She said that media workers are the frontline of defence. “PM Imran Khan faces numerous challenges and he is striving to overcome them,” she maintained. The minister said that they would bring the media workers out of the crisis. “No government alone can deal with the challenges,” she said. She said that some immature politicians need more political maturity. “They want to pressurize the government by using the women as a shield,” she said. The special assistant said that Bilawal had demanded to bring those attacking the army to the parliament. “He (Bilawal) has ignored the mission of his mother,” she said.
