PML-N’s Maryam demands Prime Minister Imran Khan’s resignation
July 8, 2019
Mandi Bahauddin (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N vice president Maryam Nawaz has demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign, blaming him for causing historic inflation in the country. Addressing the activists at a public meeting in Mandi Bahauddin in early hours of Monday, Maryam grilled the PTI government for pushing the country towards historic price-hike. She asked the rulers to resign from the offices and go home as they don’t deserve to rule the masses of Pakistan. During speech, the PML-N leader continued pretending his father Nawaz Sharif is innocent. The scuffles among party workers during Maryam’s address led to mismanagement and indiscipline. The PML-N leader said PM Imran cannot hide his incompetency behind accountability of his opponents, adding her father was ousted from power for demanding civilian supremacy in the country. “Nawaz Sharif is guilty only for not being guilty. It’s in the hands of Allah Almighty to bless anyone with honour.” The PML-N vice president said she wasn’t allowed to hold public meeting at the Quaid-e-Azam Ground but she addressed public gatherings at several places today (Sunday) en-route to Mandi Bahauddin. The PML-N leader thanked the people of Mandi Bahauddin for making the public meeting a success. The public meeting turned a battle ground for party workers who started quarreling and attacking each other. The situation remained unpleasant even after the completion of Maryam’s address. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fupfBNchgrA Earlier, the local administration had disallowed the public meeting on grounds that the public gathering was not possible for rain water accumulation in the Quaid-e-Azam and security.
