PML-N’s Pir Iqbal Shah wins NA-154 by-election with 116,590 votes

LODHRAN (92 News) – Pir Iqbal Shah of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won the NA-154 by-election with 116,590 votes. His rival Ali Tareen, son of the disqualified Jahangir Tareen, got 91, 230 votes. PPP’s Mirza Ali Baig got 3189 votes, while Azhar Sandhila of the Tehreek-Labaik Pakistan achieved 10,275 votes. After the victory, PML-N workers took out a rally and danced to the beat of drum. They also distributed sweets. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the PML-N candidate on his victory. “The by-election has proved that the people trust the leadership and policies of the PML-N,” he maintained.
