PML-N’s Sanaullah Zehri elected CM Balochistan unopposed

QUETTA (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has on Thursday elected as Chief Minister Balochistan unopposed since no other candidate submitted nomination papers for the slot.

The proposers and endorsers of Nawab Zehri included former chief minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Provincial Minister and leader of NP Sardar Aslam Bezinjo, Provincial Ministers and leaders of PkMAP-Abdul Raheem Ziaratwal and Nawab Ayaz Jogezai, Provincial Minister, Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhel and leader of PML-Q, Mir Kareem Nosherwani.

Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri was born on August 4, 1961 in Khazdar district’s Anjeera area and after receiving his initial education from Karachi, he had completed his graduation in political science from Karachi University in 1983.

He contested 1990 general election and became Senator from 1997 to 1999.

He was elected provincial assembly member in 2002 and held a post of provincial minister for Prisons and Tribal Affairs.
