PML-Q complains to govt delegation about unavailability of funds

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has complained to the government delegation about unavailability of funds. During a meeting with the delegation on Thursday, the PML-Q also demanded an end to interference in the ministries. Both sides discussed the matters relating to amendment to the Army Act and the name of the chief election commission. The government delegation was comprised of Jahangir Tareen, Pervaiz Khattak, Qasim Suri and Shahzad Arbab. Ch Moonis Elahi and Tariq Bashir participated in the talks from the PML-Q. Sources said that the government delegation took the PML-Q into confidence on the names given by the prime minister. They added that the PML-Q had also complained that the development projects were not being executed and funds were not being released for the projects. “The PML-Q, being an ally, announced full support for the government despite the reservations,” they added. The government delegation assured the PML-Q of removing all its reservations and fulfilling the promises made with it. Sources said that it was also decided in the meeting that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar will also attend the next meeting between the government and the PML-Q. The PML-Q is likely to get another federal ministry.
