PML-Q files plea against verdict of LHC for election of CM Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-Q has filed intra court plea against the verdict of Lahore High Court (LHC) for election of Chief Minister (CM) Punjab.

According to a press release, Advocate Safdar Shaheen Pirzada and Advocate Amir Saeed Rawn filed intra court appeal. According to their request, the single bench of High court has announced the verdict without listening to the point of view of appellants.

Counsel of PML-Q Safdar Shaheen Pirzada said that the single bench was not authorized of conducting hearing of the application. “Activities of Assembly and its powers can not be challenged in the court,” it maintained.

He said that the applications filed by PML-N were unhearable. “Single bench has not given any solid reason for rejecting opinion of plaintiffs,” he concluded.
