PML-N had no idea Panama issue would go in SC: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that N-League had no idea that the Panama Leaks issue would go in Supreme Court. Talking to media outside Supreme Court on Monday, Imran Khan said, “The government had no idea that the issue would go in the Supreme Court. The government played a bluff in Panama case and got trapped.” “The prime minister lied in the Parliament. To run, after presenting himself for accountability, is a U-turn and N-League has taken a U-turn in Panama case,” he said. “Nawaz Sharif gave his clarification in Parliament. He says one thing inside Parliament and another outside it,” he further said. If Maryam Nawaz is the beneficial owner of London flats then letter of Qatari prince holds no importance, he said. Imran said, “If BBC is lying then why doesn’t Nawaz Sharif precede an action against it?” He said that there is a culture of resigning over corruption allegations all over the world but Nawaz Sharif has lost moral authority. “We could hear Sh Rashid snoring in today’s hearing. Their lawyer said in the court that they don’t have any money trail. The nation is still waiting for the money trail,” he added.
