ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Iran will prove to be a forerunner to peace and security in the Gulf region. The special assistant took her twitter and said, “Imran Khan’s visit to Iran will enhance peace and security in the region.” “For giving a role of mediation to PM Imran Khan to end tensions in the region is a demonstration of Muslim Ummah’s trust due to his leadership qualities,” she added. In another tweet, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the prime minister is highlighting determined, confident, dignified and bright side of Pakistan at international platforms. “Prime Minister Imran Khan's speech in the United Nations was the address of a world-renowned Muslim leader, where he represented the stance of the entire Muslim Ummah,” she further mentioned mentioned. Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information Fridous Ashiq Awan has said the government will hold talks with the opposition if the matter is in the national interest. Talking to the media on Saturday, she said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has supported the economy. “The government is trying to overcome challenges. The past rulers have burdened the rulers with loans,” she said.
