PM’s Kisan Package is violation of code of conduct, says ECP Secretary Babar Yaqoob
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declared that the Kisan Package announced by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the violation of the election code of conduct.
Addressing a press conference, ECP Secretary Babar Yaqoob said that the announcement of uplift schemes after the election schedule is prohibited.
He also partially suspended the implementation of the package till December 3.
The ECXP secretary also said that the package was advertised unnecessarily.
