PM’s Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari’s name removed from ECL

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Interior Ministry has removed the name of Special Assistant to PM on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari from the exit control list. The Islamabad High Court had ordered to remove his name from the ECL. Zulfi Bukhari contended that his name was placed on the ECL as the NAB was investigating an offshore company against him. “Now I have joined the investigation and my name should be removed from the ECL,” he said. Before the election, Zulfi Bukhari was offloaded from a chartered plane when he was leaving with Imran Khan to perform Umrah. His name has been removed after seven months.
